Ingredients
2 lbs fresh, rinsed green beans
3 tablespoons Pepper Jelly
2 tablespoon butter
3 tablespoons chopped or slivered almonds
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Bring a large pot of water to boiling. Add green beans and boil for about 1 minute.
Remove beans from water. Immediately place beans in ice water to stop the cooking process and set aside. (This can be done ahead of time).
Just before serving, combine the butter and Pepper Jelly in a large skillet until melted together. Add green beans and toss until beans are coated.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Place green beans on serving platter and sprinkle almonds over the top.
